$13 per class (cash only) ;
$12 per class when purchase card discount of 5 classes= $60 or

Isaura's Classes explores the Spirituality, Folklore, Fun and Technique of African Brazilian Dances from Northeast Brasil. Participants will learn Brazilian steps and rhythm of the Orixas, Caboclo, Afoxe, Maracatu, Maculele, Forro-Xaxado, among others. The many styles of SAMBAS DA BAHIA will be presented. All developed in Isaura's repertoire.

There will be opportunity for student performance- for those who want show how much learning and fun we have accumulated and for those who want to advance your practice.
Schedule goes all year long with theme concentrate in series. To perform is not a request, is a gift ! Workshop Performance will be added to the week schedule as rehearsal practice. The series from January goes to April 2012 for Spring student's performance: @"O que e' que a Bahia tem? " ( what is that Bahia has?): Dance, Percussion, Singing, Words, Movies, Rhythm, Costumes, Chants & Ritual.... Stories that tell about Bahia.
Isaura Oliveira is from Bahia, Brasil. She is Actress, Dancer, Choreographer and Cultural Educator.
She is one of 4 Guest Choreographer for 2011 to 2013 Dimensions Dance Theater on Congo Line Square Project, Oakland.
Ms.Oliveira have been teaching, performing and choreographing in Bahia and Sao Paulo in Brazil, Paris-France, Genoa Italy, Boston, New York, Miami Beach, Berkeley, Oakland among other cities in USA.
Isaura Oliveira was award The Best Brazilian Dance Teacher by East Bay Express- The best of the Bay 2010.
