Samba Dance Class
A new samba dance class series begins Sunday, January 8th, 2012!
Brazilian Samba Dance: Level 1
Sundays 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
Progress 8 week class series. Sunday, January 8th - February 26, 2011
Jazz Baptiste, Executive Director of B.L.A.Z.E. World Dance Institute has developed a full 12 month curriculum for the Brazilian Samba dance program. In the courses Levels 1 - 5, students will learn the history of samba dance, the various samba dance styles and rhythms, foot work, body mechanics, hip movements, arm styling, stamina to dance to the fast tempo samba de enredo or Rio Carnaval samba rhythm, musicality, choreography, styling tips, and will also have opportunities to perform the newly learned skills.
This class is appropriate for ALL LEVELS from beginner to advanced. Students will start with basics of samba dance and add onto their skill level each week. After the completion of 8 weeks students progress to the next level.

Let's Dance Kids!
Introducing Kids Samba and World Dance!
In this 4 week session your children will learn dances from Brazil, Africa, Latin America & Spain and the Middle East. Don't just leave the kids at home, or drop them off at class, LEARN DANCE TOGETHER! You will have the opportunity to take the class with them as well. Ask me about a Parent/Guardian rate.
Kids Samba and World Dance Class Series (ages 7 - 12)
Saturdays 9:00 - 9:55 a.m.
February 4, 11, 18, 25
Cost: $60 for 4 week session*
A minimum of 12 students are needed to make this class happen.
